NDAA’s Trial Advocacy Academy 101 Series - Establishing and Maintaining Professionalism in an Adversarial System (Ethics)
Join Us Virtually
Stepping into the courtroom as a new prosecutor means entering a system built on conflict, advocacy, and high public expectations. In this session of NDAA’s Trial Advocacy Academy 101 Series, attendees will examine what it truly means to embody professionalism—not simply as an ethical requirement, but as a foundational element of credibility, fairness, and the pursuit of justice.
This webinar will provide prosecutors with practical guidance on how to build and maintain a professional reputation in the inherently adversarial environment of criminal litigation. Participants will explore the prosecutor’s unique ethical responsibilities, effective strategies for communicating with defense counsel, law enforcement, victims, and the court, and methods for navigating challenging or high‑pressure moments without compromising integrity or impartiality.
By the end of this session, you will be equipped with the mindset, skills, and practical tools necessary to carry yourself with confidence and integrity in every aspect of the adversarial process.
*NDAA’s Trial Advocacy Academy 101 Series is ideal for prosecutors with limited trial experience who are looking to enhance their trial advocacy skills.
