NDAA's
2026 Cross- Examination Course
May 27-29, 2026 | Orlando, FL
Strategic Cross-Examination for Stronger Trials
Cross-examination is where cases are won, clarified—or lost.
When cross lacks structure, control, or strategic intent, even strong cases can lose momentum in front of a jury. Today’s prosecutors face increasingly sophisticated defense tactics, complex expert testimony, and heightened courtroom scrutiny.
Precision matters.
For decades, the most respected trial advocacy training in the country was built on a simple model: prosecutors teaching prosecutors. This program continues that tradition—bringing together attorneys who have developed their approach through real cases, real juries, and real courtroom experience.
NDAA’s 2026 Cross-Examination Course is designed to meet this moment. This is not a lecture-based training. It is a skills-based, immersive program built around how prosecutors actually develop cross-examination in practice—through structure, repetition, and real-time feedback.
What You Will Do in This Program
This course combines targeted instruction with hands-on application so participants can move beyond theory and into execution.
Throughout the program, you will:
-
Build cross-examinations directly from case theory using Analytical Advocacy
-
Apply NDAA’s Approach Point method to structure purposeful, strategic questioning
-
Develop approaches for cross-examining defense expert witnesses
-
Practice techniques for maintaining control of evasive, difficult, or hostile witnesses
-
Test and refine your approach through live cross-examination exercises
But just as important as the content is the room.
A Room Built for Real Trial Work
This program is designed for prosecutors who are actively trying cases—or preparing to. Participants work in small groups, practice in real time, and receive structured feedback from experienced trial attorneys who have built their approach in the courtroom—not the classroom.
You will not just hear what works.
You will practice it—with people who understand the stakes.
Enrollment is intentionally limited to preserve this environment.
