NDAA Launches Weekly Radio Show
We are excited to announce that NDAA will be hosting a weekly one-hour radio show on Saturdays at noon (Eastern time) with an anticipated start date of September 6th. We have reached an agreement with WMET, 1150 AM -- a 50,000-watt radio station in Washington, D.C. WMET's format is "Talk Radio." Our audience will reach from Baltimore down to Richmond, Virginia.
This will provide us with a great opportunity to discuss issues of importance to prosecutors as well as to define the role of prosecutors. While we must have an in-studio host to facilitate the show's continuity, you will be the stars of this show. We expect to have one to three prosecutors each week participate by phone to discuss issues and answer questions from the audience. In other words, you need not travel to Washington; you can participate from your home or office phone.
There are a number of decisions we must make prior to the premier of our show, and since we are in the embryonic stages of show development, we will provide you with updates prior to launching the show in September. We encourage your involvement in this effort and welcome your thoughts on issues to be addressed. Please also let us know if you wish to be a guest on the show.
