Prosecutors Portrayed as “Doing the Right Thing” in NDAA’s New Public Service Announcements

We did it! Our Public Service Announcements (PSAs) are a reality. NDAA is pleased to announce that our PSAs have been disseminated to over 50 media markets that have indicated a promising interest in airing them. The PSAs portray prosecutors as everyone’s neighbors and active members of our communities. They also point out that prosecutors protect all of us from crime and violence; that prosecutors seek the truth; reflect their communities’ values and spend their lives “doing what’s right” for law-abiding citizens.

We have produced two television and two radio PSAs. George Eads of CBS’s “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and S. Epatha Merkerson of NBC’s “Law & Order” are the voices on the television advertisements. George Eads also is the voice on one of the radio advertisements. Additionally, we have two television PSAs with professional announcers—for stations that cannot be associated with either NBC or CBS.

For those of you who did not have an opportunity to see the PSAs at the November NDAA meeting in Ft. Lauderdale, FL—they are a quality product, and have been extremely well received by the media. We hope to see them airing in markets throughout the country well into the future. Please check the NDAA Internet site to view them.

If you have good working relationships with the media in your jurisdiction and think they may be interested in airing these PSAs, please let us know and we can provide copies to them. If, however, you want to work directly with your media, you may purchase these advertisements and distribute them. We also have the television PSAs in VHS format if you want a copy for your office use.

To order the PSAs, please fill out and submit the form provided below indicating the type and quantity, or fax your order to Cathy Yates at (703) 836-3195, and we will bill you. We will send the PSAs to you as quickly as possible. If you wish to mail your payment, please make checks payable to NDAA and mail to:
