Practical Training for America’s Prosecutors

It’s springtime and everyone at the National College is preparing for its premiere prosecutor training program. This year the college celebrates its 34th Annual Career Prosecutors Course, and the college will be returning to Charleston, South Carolina. The Career Prosecutors Course offers practical training for America’s prosecutors in all the areas that they tackle on a daily basis in prosecuting the toughest of crimes. The course is designed for those on the path to becoming a career prosecutor in their office. Experienced litigators, experts and consultants from across the country have been hand-selected to provide cutting edge training on all aspects of criminal case preparation, management and presentation. As an added advantage, prosecutors will get to “practice what we teach” with cases from their personal dockets. Registration for this course is limited and each applicant accepted for this unique training would be able to select a case from their home jurisdiction to bring with them to the course. They are also encouraged to bring visuals, creative exhibits and any demonstrative aids that they feel will enhance their persuasion skills in workshops and demonstrations. These cases will serve as the foundation for many of the discussions, workshops and hands-on training sessions. Applicants will be able to bring their most difficult and challenging issues with them and leave with workable solutions, strategies and techniques to utilize now. The college looks forward to this year’s 34th anniversary and to once again assisting America’s prosecutors in the type of quality training they deserve.
