Incoming President Paul Logli said, “I am honored and humbled to be elected by my peers to serve as President of the NDAA. The challenges facing prosecutors today are far greater then ever before. However, our primary responsibility is to seek truth and justice for victims of crime and to hold criminals accountable for their actions. Recent events in England remind us that our country is at war with terrorists and their senseless violence and disregard for innocent lives. At the same time, we must be committed to provide security within the communities we serve. We owe it to those who live and work in our jurisdictions to provide leadership and promote programs that will keep our neighborhoods safe from crime and violence. Over the next year, I look forward to working with our nation’s prosecutors, state and federal law enforcement officials, legislators, the media, and people within our communities to find effective ways to reduce violent crimes against our children, our elders, and all victims of crime. Being a prosecutor is the best job in the world and I’m thankful for the opportunity to lead NDAA in the year ahead.”
NDAA is the only association in the United States that represents state and local prosecutors. It represents approximately 30,000 prosecutors nationwide. More than 95% of all crimes committed in the United States are prosecuted by local prosecutors. This conference marks NDAA’s 55th year of dedicated service to America’s prosecutors and its commitment to seeking justice for crime victims.
