Managing the prosecutor’s can be overwhelming. Election year woes, employee morale issues, crime rates sky rocketing and available budgets plummeting, safety concerns for employees in “high risk” divisions, in- house training needs; the list goes on and on. Our experienced multi-disciplinary faculty consisting of attorney and non attorney supervisors, elected and appointed chief prosecutors, and consultants will discuss the issues and solutions. The Office Administration Course offers a variety of formats -- workshops, lectures and networking sessions –designed with your interests in mind. The less formal participatory sessions afford an excellent opportunity for you to not only learn how to be a more effective administrator, but also discuss common issues with attendees struggling with the same issues from across the country.

Course Information

Eligibility: Office Administration Course is open to attorneys and administrative personnel in municipal, county, or state government, prosecuting offices or military prosecutors’ offices who have management responsibilities.

Course Tuition: The course fee is $575, which includes admission and course materials. The College adheres to a policy of non-discrimination in admissions, scholarship awards and administration.

Office Discounts: The first attendee from an office pays full tuition. Each additional attendee from the same office will receive a $50 discount for this course.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Full refunds will be made for cancellations received by 5:00 pm, ten (10) business days prior to the beginning of the course. Refunds, less $60 for administrative fees, will be made for cancellations received after this date for all courses.

Late Registration Fee: The late registration fee has been waived for this course.

Accommodations: The host hotel (Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort listed below) is SOLD OUT. The Olde Marco Island Inn and Suites is holding a limited number of rooms until May 7th for $200 per room per night. These are on a first come, first serve basis. There are also several hotels in Naples with availability. Attendees not staying at the host hotel are strongly urged to rent a vehicle. Attendees will have to go through Naples to get to Marco Island whether they fly into Fort Meyers or Naples.

The course will be held at the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort (SOLD OUT). To secure this group rate, make reservations by April 28, 2008 by calling the hotel at 239-394-5000 or by calling CEM travel services at 800-247-8785; a first night’s deposit is required. The group rate is $139 single/double occupancy per night.

Travel Services: NCDA’s Travel Agency, CEM Travel Services, can take care of all of your travel needs. Call them at 800-247-8785 (Monday - Friday; 9 am - 6 pm Central) for airfare and rental car reservations. United Airlines is offering a special rate for this course - refer to code 576TX if you prefer to make your own airline reservation!
