Course Description

Opportunities and challenges are around every corner for the prosecutor with an active caseload. Forensic evidence (both real and imagined by Hollywood), expert opinion testimony, recanting and intimidated witnesses, legislative changes, recent court decisions, and creative defenses all open new avenues for powerful testimony, yet create substantial challenges with which you, the overworked prosecutor, may need assistance. As an advocate, you must not only possess knowledge and comprehend current issues, but must also convey your knowledge to the judge and jury in an effective manner.
