Course Description
The National Center for Community Prosecution at the National District Attorneys Association, in partnership with the Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance and the Center for Court Innovation, has designed a training to address a variety of issues faced by prosecutors striving to make communities safer by developing problem-solving techniques on issues such as crime prevention, organized retail crime, open-air drug markets, as well as strategies for using community prosecution in the courtroom.

Who Should Attend?
Elected and appointed prosecutors as well as deputy and assistant prosecutors interested in responding better to community problems by implementing and sustaining community prosecution. There is no limit to the number of people who can attend from one jurisdiction.
Continuing Legal Education Credit
Attendance at this seminar may qualify participants for continuing legal education credits. Please check with your state bar association for CLE requirements in advance. NCCP will provide information regarding CLE credits after the conclusion of the course.
Conference Time(s)
Registration will take place from 8:00 – 9:00 am on Tuesday, October 7, 2008. The conference is scheduled to run from approximately 9:00 am to 4:30 pm Tuesday with a working lunch to be provided, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on Wednesday, and 8:30 am until no later than 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 9, 2008.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing on official stationery, and signed by the registrant and the elected/appointed prosecutor. Registrants who cancel must reimburse NDAA any expenses (i.e., airfare and hotel) already incurred on the registrant's behalf, except in case of an emergency.
