​Digital Prosecutor Course

The NDAA's Digital Prosecutor course is designed to assist the prosecution team in understanding and utilizing technology in investigation and trial, as well as learning how suspects are using technology. We will present an experienced faculty to teach and answer questions about electronic and high tech evidence and their relevance to our work. This 4-day course will address both general technology practices and substantive areas of law. We will also again offer a hands-on lab to incorporate the lessons shared earlier in the course. 

Tentative Topics Include
Technology in Homicide, Sexual Assault, and Trade Secret Cases | Cell Phone Technology and a Case Update in Technology | High Tech Courtroom Visuals | The Dark Web | Social Media Evidence | Ethics for Your Visual Trial | FBI Resources plus FBI Case File Review | The Visual Trial – Technology for the Courtroom | Hands on Learning Lab

CLE: Anticipated CLE credits will be 16 hours including 1.5 hours of ethics. NDAA will apply for CLE credit in Virginia, Texas, Tennessee and Ohio. All other states will require the attorney to self-submit using their uniform certificate of attendance provided at the conclusion of the course. Eligibility: Prosecutors, law enforcement personnel, judges, and other members of the prosecution team.  NDAA adheres to a policy of non-discrimination ​in ​admissions ​and ​administration.

The first ​attendee ​from ​an ​office ​pays ​full ​tuition; each additional attendee from the same office will receive a $50 discount when registered at the same time.

Registration fees are non-refundable. However, if you need to cancel your registration, the fees paid may be credited toward any other NDAA training within twelve months from the date of the original cancellation.
