The mission of the National Center for the Prosecution of Violence Against Women at the American Prosecutors Research Institute is to improve the quality of justice in violence against women prosecutions by increasing awareness of the dynamics of victimization, identifying best prosecution practices, developing research and reference resources and providing training and technical assistance at the national, regional and local levels for prosecutors, law enforcement and other allied professionals.
