JumpStart: Training for Newly Assigned Juvenile Prosecutors: The Downloadable Version
The National Juvenile Justice Prosecution Center’s JumpStart: Training for Newly Assigned Juvenile Prosecutors course is designed to provide prosecutors who are new to juvenile court with much of the information that they need to become more effective in their positions. The live course spans two-and-a-half days and includes presentations on many topics of interest to new juvenile prosecutors, from School Search and Seizure to Animal Cruelty to Competency Issues. Course participants receive a Training and Resource Manual, a valuable resource for juvenile prosecutors.
As part of a pilot project, the National Juvenile Justice Prosecution Center (NJJPC) has created a downloadable version of our JumpStart course. Course participants have access to a downloadable version of our JumpStart Training and Resource Manual. The Test with Questions Only contains test questions that correspond to each of the chapters of our Manual. There is also a Test with Questions and Answers that serves to reinforce some of the most important and useful points in each chapter.
As a Juvenile Prosecutor, you are cordially invited to participate in this new version of our JumpStart course. Below you will find a link for the downloadable registration form. All fields are required, as the information collected will allow us to document course interest and participation.
Thank you for considering taking this version of our JumpStart course. We are confident that this course serves as a convenient and valuable training tool for newly assigned juvenile prosecutors.
