Current Community Prosecution Leadership Sites

Denver, CO, Washington, DC, Marion County (Indianapolis), IN, Hennepin County (Minneapolis), MN, Kings County (Brooklyn), NY, Multnomah County (Portland), OR, Travis County (Austin), TX, Dallas, TX, and Fulton County (Atlanta) GA have all been selected as community prosecution leadership sites in recognition of the success of their programs and their contributions nationally in promoting community prosecution. These leadership sites have agreed to continue their outstanding work as role models in the field of community prosecution and as faculty for community prosecution trainings.
The leadership sites are available to consult with jurisdictions interested in starting community prosecution programs. Prosecutors just getting involved in community prosecution may find it very helpful to speak with, or visit, community prosecutors in these jurisdictions. For the past 10 years APRI has been encouraging the formation of mentoring relationships between experienced community prosecution programs and less experienced ones.
